This section contains all of the books and patterns currently available to purchase. They are all now available in PDF format only, and will be emailed to you after your payment clears through PayPal. I know it is a little frustrating having to wait for an email, and do apologize.
A couple of years ago, the EU changed the rules. Taxes must now be collected by the merchant, and paid to the country where the purchaser lives, instead of being paid by the purchaser. The only legal way around this for online PDF pattern sales, is to send the pattern to each individual purchaser through email, and not by an automatic download.
As a small independent designer, I simply can't deal with having to remit taxes to multiple European countries. Therefore, in order to use the same system for everyone, I will send out pattern(s) by email after payment clears through Paypal.
Books and Patterns for Standard Gauge Machines
Knitting For Bazaars and Gifts
A good selection of patterns for gifts and bazaar items. Includes many hats, gloves, mittens, socks, slippers, toy and gift items, and a crew neck pullover sweater from children's size 2 to adult size 48.
Books for Bulky Machines
Bulky Classic Afghans.
This volume contains all 16 patterns, from both of the LK-150 Classic Afghan books, which are suitable for Bulky/Chunky machines. Three of these are completely revised, to make knitting faster and easier! We left out the ones which will only work on LK 150 machines. Now you don’t have to wonder which afghans patterns are suitable for your Bulky machine.
Books and Patterns for Midgauge Machines
LK-150 Classics for Babies
Patterns for the smallest member of the family. Includes dresses, panties, tops and pants, sweaters, booties, hats, and "The World's Easiest Afghan", which was such a hit at this season's seminars that many people bought the book for this pattern alone (it also works as a small adult afghan!)
12 afghans, featuring partial knit intarsia "quilt block" patterns, cables, tuck stitch, tuck lace, and hand transferred lace. Most are knitted in panels and assembled, but two require an extension kit or extended bed, created by joining two machines--finally a full sized afghan in just 1 piece!
LK 150 Classic Afghans, vol 2
9 afghan patterns, written especially for mid-gauge machines. Most are also suitable for bulky machines. Includes Flying Geese and Evening Star, both adapted from quilting patterns, Diamond and Chevron Tuck (a mock Aran), Cables and Lace, Woven Diamonds, Lace Bordered Afghan, String of Hearts (a special technique for joining panels), Ripple Afghan, and Diamond Afghan. Many special hand-manipulated trims are included, making these truly "something different".
LK-150 Fairisle Yoke Cardigans
Cardigans in both round yoke and drop shoulder styling, all in gorgeous Fairisle designs, which may be worked by the slip stitch method with the original machine carriage, or use the optional Fairisle carriage! There are four children's patterns, sizes 2-12, and six ladies sweaters, sizes S-2X. Use any yarn which will knit to a gauge of 5 stitches per inch. Instructions for knitting Fairisle, including one not shown in the manual are included. You do not need a Fairisle carriage to make these cardigans.
Pink Geometrics and Star ladies round yoke cardigans
Classic Round Yoke and Purple Lace ladies cardigans
Contemporary Star and Traditional Scandinavian ladies cardigans
Ladies' Round Yoke Pullovers
These round yoke sweater patterns were previously published as three separate patterns, but now are all contained in one volume. From left to right they are:
Alternate Style Round Yoke. Fairisle round yoke is knitted in four sections, each a continuation of its body section, and shaped with multiple decreases, using either the garter bar, or scrapping off and rehanging. Sizes S-2XL. This is the easiest of the three sweaters, and is suitable for intermediate (and possibly advanced beginners).
Lace Round Yoke. Yoke is worked entirely by hand transfers. This is the most complicated of the round yoke garments presented here. Intermediate and experienced knitters will find this a new way to shape yokes, as the multiple decreases are hidden in the lace shaping.
Classic Round Yoke. Fairisle yoke is knitted in the traditional manner, with a side seam down each shoulder. The yoke is shaped with multiple decreases, using either a garter bar or removing on waste yarn and rehanging each decreased section. Slightly more advanced method than Alternate Style above, and suitable for intermediate and experienced knitters.
How to Order
Please make a list of the book(s) you wish to purchase, and send this list to firstname.lastname@example.org. There is no shipping, and tax is added only if you live in Arizona. I will send you a PayPal invoice. When you pay the invoice, PayPal will transfer the money from your account. Once the funds have cleared, PayPal notifies that it is OK to send your patterns, and I will email them to you.
If you have any questions, please let me know. These are old patterns(most of them written in the 1990s) and the yarns are slightly different today. They were also originally written with North American knitters in mind, so yarn weights/sizes, and terms may not be what you are used to. I'll be happy to help with whatever questions you have.
