Machine Knitting Books
All books and pattern sets are now available only in PDF format. I no longer have the space or equipment to produce physical books.
I am exploring moving all sales to Ravelry or Etsy, so that it will be possible for you to receive your PDF immediately after payment; but for right now the only way is to contact me for a Paypal invoice for the patterns you wish to purchase. I will email you the files after your payment clears. This will usually be within a few hours, but when we are in widely differing time zones, it could take as long as a day.
All of these books were written in the 1990s. The yarns used in the patterns are often no longer available, and a substitute will need to be found. Most of the time finding a yarn of similar fiber content that knits to the same gauge is all that is necessary. Photographs are no where near the quality of today’s smart phones, and because of the limitations of the printers back then, the photos are all grouped at the front of the book. I just wanted you to know these things up front, so that you can decide whether the limitations would be a problem for you.
LK-150 CLASSICS FOR BABIES. Patterns for the smallest member of the family. Includes dresses, panties, tops and pants, sweaters, booties, hats, and “The World’s Easiest Afghan”, which was such a hit at this season’s seminars that many people bought the book for this pattern alone (it also works as a small adult afghan!)

BULKY CLASSIC AFGHANS. This volume contains all 16 patterns, from both of the LK-150 Classic Afghan books, which are suitable for Bulky/Chunky machines. Three of these are completely revised, to make knitting faster and easier! We left out the ones which will only work on LK 150 machines. Now you don’t have to wonder which afghans patterns are suitable for your Bulky machine. #BB01 $15

LADIES’ ROUND YOKE PULLOVERS. Written for the LK150 knitting machine. These round yoke sweater patterns were previously published as three separate patterns, but now are all contained in one volume. From left to right they are:
ALTERNATE STYLE ROUND YOKE. Fairisle round yoke is knitted in four sections, each a continuation of its body section, and shaped with multiple decreases, using either the garter bar, or scrapping off and rehanging. Sizes S-2XL. This is the easiest of the three sweaters, and is suitable for intermediate (and possibly advanced beginners).
LACE ROUND YOKE. Yoke is worked entirely by hand transfers. This is the most complicated of the round yoke garments presented here. Intermediate and experienced knitters will find this a new way to shape yokes, as the multiple decreases are hidden in the lace shaping.
CLASSIC ROUND YOKE PULLOVER. Fairisle yoke is knitted in the traditional manner, with a side seam down each shoulder. The yoke is shaped with multiple decreases, using either a garter bar or removing on waste yarn and rehanging each decreased section. Slightly more advanced method than Alternate Style above, and suitable for intermediate and experienced knitters.

KNITTING FOR BAZAARS AND GIFTS. A good selection of patterns for gifts and bazaar items. Includes many hats, gloves, mittens, socks, slippers, toy and gift items, and a crew neck pullover sweater from children’s size 2 to adult size 48. Note: this book is one of my oldest, and was written before printing photos on an office printer was possible. It has only line drawings. Also, some of the patterns are already in the free pattern archive here on this site.
